I'm pretty sure this was the thread I read bsky.app/profile/lucy...
Right now on reddit there's a guy inventing a new kind of brick to build his home with and it's going about as well as you can imagine

Omg did you see the reddit thread with the guy designing his own concrete bricks based on block chain and using LLMs for building advice? I'll try to find it if you haven't

My co-creator and I are working on our first webcomic, “The Arrangement” about two vampires in an odd couple/queer romantic situation in the 1920s.
The first arc is written and edited, multiple chapters thumbnailed and our first chapter is currently being released online. We’re learning as we go.

The solution is obviously to make her her own plate of eggs. (This opinion is sponsored by Kona)

Oh and the monkey bread was delicious

The pie tasted good even if it was hard to cut through the hidden crust. I made fresh whipped cream to put on top and I think it helped.

Relieved to find comments in the ATK app that this has happened to other people, too. I wish I'd seen them beforehand because the book doesn't mention pie weights AT ALL, but apparently that's the solution along with possibly rolling it all a bit bigger to have more overhang to work with.

I filled it with the filling even though it buried the crust, and I'm just hoping it'll still taste okay even though it's ugly

The pie crust is disastrous. I think the instructions don't have me room it out enough because it didn't overhang the pan lip. Then the whole thing puffed up like crazy and shrank down the sides when baking. 😭 Next time I will try using weights.

The monkey bread seems okay, if a little underdone. I cooked it for a little extra time but it never got as dark as the pictures. I did substitute one of the flours in the blend, so maybe that's why.

I'm a bit stressed about the pie because the filling and crust have to come together warm and it's all time sensitive, but hopefully it won't be too bad. I also have to use the food processor again which is very sad for me. I hate washing that thing. But I think it will be worth it in the end.

I've already washed all the dishes from round one and cleaned up the counters and stove disaster areas. Now I get to sit for a little while until it's time to preheat the oven and bake the bread, at which point I guess I'll also start assembling everything for the pie filling.

These are amazing but a lot more work. There are also versions for pecan and pumpkin pie that I haven't tried yet. I always make two dozen because they go fast theloopywhisk.com/2025/10/03/g...

I use this flour blend for Loopy Whisk recipes that call for gluten free flour blends, too
