The pie crust is disastrous. I think the instructions don't have me room it out enough because it didn't overhang the pan lip. Then the whole thing puffed up like crazy and shrank down the sides when baking. 😭 Next time I will try using weights.

The monkey bread seems okay, if a little underdone. I cooked it for a little extra time but it never got as dark as the pictures. I did substitute one of the flours in the blend, so maybe that's why.

Baking cheesy monkey bread and pumpkin pie today for Friendsgiving. I made the crust yesterday for the pie. Bread is proofing now. Wish me luck that I don't mess it all up trying to do too many things in one day.

I think even in pictures it's clear that the new boots are a bit wider and sturdier. They are the black ones with the teal toe caps. The green ones are a bit longer and more narrow. They're still usable for basics, so they'll probably be my outdoor cruising skates.

We have been using treats to teach the other cats to use the wheel and It finally clicked for Solly! He's now doing it for fun. Which is good because the twins are not using it anymore since whatever scared them. Hopefully they see him going and get back into it!

I made pumpkin bread to use up the rest of the can of pumpkin from scones. Now I have leftover buttermilk, so I guess that will guide my next bake. Probably having pancakes this weekend 🥞

Cat wheel update! Got a short clip of the end of Goose going fast. She always stops when she gets an audience but we can hear her going at it when we're not there.

Added frosting! I decided to wing it a bit with some apple butter since I didn't have the juices from cooking the apples. I must say this recipe has the most waiting before I get to eat of any of the desserts I've made so far. I want to serve and taste!!!

Cat wheel update is that we moved it and Goose loves it even more, but I still haven't caught video of her really zooming yet. Here's a little clip that I did manage to get. We can now hear how much she uses it all night since the sound carries up the stairs.

Here's my old silks ideas playlist. Sadly YouTube music is not letting me share a link for some reason, so I had to screenshot. I mostly perform hoop/trapeze so not sure my suggestions for silks are super helpful, but back when I was training silks I saved these songs for some reason or another.
