I’m hearing a lot of despair and “what’s the point”-ing.

Here’s the point:

ONE less person kidnapped by ICE.

ONE more child vaccinated.

ONE grant reinstated.

ONE more PEPFAR treatment.

ONE more meal to a hungry kid.

ONE more person covered by Medicaid.

One life is ALWAYS worth resistance.

I've heard from those in Venice that the lack of affordable grocery options was taking a toll.

Today, I'm announcing a $2.4M investment for them to build a new, municipally owned grocery store — and over $10M to address food deserts statewide through our Grocery Initiative.

The Trump administration has paused over $500M in food bank funding. Added to other policy changes, it will make it harder than it already is for many Americans to get enough to eat.

Let’s break down the impact looking at #Iowa as an example (thread) ⬇️ #hunger #foodinsecurity

Creative protests & resistance to fascism are happening everywhere. Keep standing up, even in the reddest states. It matters that others see your courage.

Republicans are anti-abortion because they get off on watching little kids suffer and die. They enjoy it.

Why else would they block every effort to make childhood survivable?

They like watching people get hurt. They cannot be reasoned with.

Nebraska is going to get crushed between Tariffs and Medicaid cuts. They have to balance their state budget and it looks like at least a 200m shortfall this year. BEFORE tariff impacts.

And Nebraska Republicans here ! Curious what you think

I'm in a rural part of a red state. IRL trolls will remove mufflers from their trucks so that they're louder and put out more exhaust and feel very proud of working even harder to destroy the environment because they're "owning the libtards", in case you're wondering if they can be reasoned with

Every accusation is an admission.

Worried about theft? That's because they're thieves.

Gonna "protect" women? That's because they abuse women.

Worried about "inefficiency"? That's because they literally don't do anything but take.
