Normalcy bias is a hell of a thing. People really think it can't happen here as it's happening here. People bargain against reality in a collective delusion to avoid acknowledging how bad things are.

Trump’s crackdown on Harvard just exiled 6,800 international students. Futures shattered, visas revoked, degrees in limbo—all to punish a university for defying political pressure. This isn’t policy. It’s political retribution.

Watching Project 2025 unfolding before us, it’s hard to think this is a problem of not enough information. So many Cassandras have been crying out for two years the dangers we are now seeing, only to be ignored. How many have to feel direct pain for enough to care? I’m afraid we may find out soon.

BREAKING: The Supreme Court’s conservatives allow Trump’s firing of members of multi-member boards to remain in effect during litigation, effectively overruling a 90-year-old precedent.

The liberal justices, in an opinion by Kagan, dissents.

By the way, both women who ran for president were right. They predicted this moment would happen. Says something very disturbing about our country that many still think they’re unrealistic or dramatic, when they were and are, in fact, correct.

BREAKING: 60 Minutes just exposed the lie. Over 75% of those deported to El Salvador’s mega-prison are innocent. No crimes. No charges. No justice. This is manufactured fear and state-sanctioned abuse.

The cover-up…

USAID officials were ordered to destroy classified documents, raising concerns about compliance with federal law. An internal email sent to remaining bureau leaders at the agency’s Washington headquarters provided guidance on “clearing our classified safes and personnel documents.”

Heaven forbid you use the word "injustice."

When Trump was sworn in, Elon Musk's corporations were under more than 32 investigations conducted by at least 11 federal agencies.

Most of the cases are now closed or likely to be closed soon, and the federal agencies are being defanged by DOGE.

Funny how that works, huh?
