And I’m also under the weather with that fun respiratory bug that’s going around. I’m spending my birthday at home with my dog, Comet, and my cat, Iddles. So it’s very low key. I’m grateful to be alive and I hope to have at least a few more of these birthdays. 😉

The sutures and staples are still in his paws but I hope they will be removed soon. The vet has been keeping the cost down, but the frequent visits are still adding up. If there is any way you can help again, please do. It has been costly in so many ways but worth it. ❤️

Since the operation, I have been at the vet every three days for a bandage change, an antibiotic soak, and for the vet to monitor the progress in healing from his double toe amputation. Everyone at the vet loves Comet. They call him “the quiet gentleman.”
