This summer I experienced the most gut wrenching heartbreak, had Lyme’s disease, dealt with a fibromyalgia flare, oddly wavered between constant hyper vigilance and burnout, and was officially diagnosed with autism. I don’t know if I’m me anymore. I just chase peaceful and creative moments.

I highly recommend the “cut up poetry” exercise. The first image shows the poem built from found words. The second image is the draft I wrote up from it.
Not sure if folks on here dig #poetry but if they do I have written a lot recently and would appreciate some artistic love.

I cancelled my trip to England to opt for a couple shorter journeys and to spend time in therapeutic programs. My mental health is shot. I’ve been burnt out and heartbroken, going through grief and exhaustion. I also feel vulnerably unmasked and overwhelmed. London will wait while I heal.
