I usually don't like to give Fortnite a lot of credit, but I respect the hell outta them for forcing LEGO to make designs for IPs that they'd usually never touch. Like Metallica, for example. We have an official LEGO James Hetfield now.

Expectation: A new LEGO Indiana Jones game coming in 2026, allowing you to play through all five movies and possibly some bonus levels based on Young Indy, Fate of Atlantis, The Emperor's Tomb, The Infernal Machine and The Great Circle. Reality: LEGO Indiana Jones only got three new sets in 2023 to support the release of Dial of Destiny, and was then cancelled after a year. One set, based on Temple of Doom, was never even released because that movie is too problematic for modern audiences. There were new zero sets based on Dial of Destiny or Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Only Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. LEGO Indiana Jones, as a brand, is dead in the water.
