Our alchemists now have a bed to sleep in, and we've also placed a balloon as the starting building. Less visible, but also new in the game, are the small resource piles that appear when materials are harvested.

For our base-building game, we're currently working on several aspects: liquids can now be mixed (which will be important later for alchemy), trees and plants can be planted and harvested, and various annoying bugs have been fixed... 🙃

In the past few days, we've been working on an initial (rough) UI for our game. We also implemented a mechanic for harvesting plants – including the first plant types. It's coming to life! Slowly but surely, our game is starting to feel alive. 🥰🌱

Why we use Rust and Bevy for our game?

Why Rust?
We want to build a Colony Sim with lots of things going on.
This requires a lot of computation but we don’t want to ask you to buy a high-end machine for our game so it is important to have very efficient code.
