There is a weird taboo around it for some people, especially in towns that don’t get a lot of tourists. I think it’s horrible for one’s mental health to say something can only be enjoyed if acutely experienced with someone else. Good food is good food and not doing any dishes is a joy.

Haha. At my hospital, I can add a creatinine column to my epic patient list. It helps with these questions but then doesn’t help for the follow-up “remind me, what was it yesterday?”
