We alert the public when a kickstarter is money laundering, using their own credit cards to meet a goal, or are ripping you off. When in doubt, we'll figure it out!

We have caught one!
Dauntless Stories: 56 backers at $1841, 19 hours to go, then they had 57 backers and were at $4002, mysteriously over goal with 1 backer putting in over $2100, but they had no tiers at that amount.

They used their own credit card to bump it over goal to get your funds
Zoop fraud is on the rise. Be careful when clicking links when people, who are well known in industries, unknowingly share a possible scam

The $400,000 LIE: Unpacking the Johnny Bobbitt GoFundMe SCAM
You’ve seen the story. The viral GoFundMe that restores your faith in humanity, the one you share with the caption, "I'm not crying, you're crying!" But what if the whole thing was a perfectly crafted lie, designed to weaponize your kindness? This is the unbelievable true story of the Johnny Bobbitt Jr. case—the infamous GoFundMe scam that started with a heartwarming "Good Samaritan" tale and ended in federal prison. A couple and a homeless man fooled the world, raising over $400,000 by hijacking our hope. In this episode, we're not just telling you what happened; we're dissecting why we all fell for it. We'll explore the seductive psychology of virtue signaling and the powerful, uncomfortable tool of emotional exploitation that charities and scammers alike use to open our wallets. We'll dive into the ethical tightrope that the entire non-profit world walks, and how a feel-good narrative can be the perfect cover for a devastating fundraising fraud. Finally, we'll look to the future: can new technology like blockchain really create a world without scams? This is a story about the high price of a lie and the even higher value of trust. If you're fascinated by the line between good intentions and grand deception, you've just found your next favorite podcast. Hit that follow button, and share this with anyone who has ever clicked "donate." Drop a 5-star review if we made you think, and tell us in the comments: What's a red flag that makes you think twice before donating online?

In that case, maybe consider deleting the link to his crowdfunding scam that at least six people have reposted?

Major heads up for people crowdfunding.

If someone responds or DMs you with "someone helped me raise funds, contact them here", DO NOT click on the link or respond.

It’s a scam and that link alone could mess you up.

Every time I post a KS I discover a new type of crowdfunding scam. Apparently the latest one is pretending to back new campaigns for huge amounts of money to get them to email what I can only assume is some bullshit marketing business

It’s crazy that the mainstream sites have not tried to cover this scam.

Everyone’s afraid of being the next target because of his reach, but this is one of the bigger crowdfunding scams in the space and nobody’s touched it.

And those that have didn’t exactly get backed up on it…

Would you believe me if I told you this man used to work for Blizzard?

Cause he did. Apparently didn’t do much but he did work there for a few years during peak World of Warcraft popularity. All he’s done since is scam people with fake kickstarter games

Keep us posted!
FINALLY! A package arrived today for a product I backed on Kickstarter 13 months ago. It's for a potential scam investigation, but I can't declare it a scam yet! I have to do my testing. 😈

Stay tuned…

Dixon ranks in the top 5 scammers
didn't Dixon just scam a bunch of people off of a Kickstarter? Trying to make a right wing hero, or something for the targeted audience, and ran off with the money?

my advice is to ignore people offering services in general but in particular if you're doing a kickstarter type thing, and in PARTICULAR particular if that thing is successful, you will be emailed by so many scam losers trying to crib off you, you can ignore them all

We have seen different types of scams this year, this new one is up there, not as illegal as the Brent Fisher and Dauntless Stories ordeal we uncovered, but pretty bad.
Hey all, if you’re in pre-launch or just launched a Kickstarter and a super creator reaches out to you with an offer of unsolicited help, unless you’re friends, it’s likely a scam.

PLEASE don’t fall for this. And tell your creator friends.

This is what an ACTUAL Kickstarter scam looks like. A lot of Kickstarter video game failures underestimate or assume the backer thinks that features cost way less to add then they actually do. www.youtube.com/watch?v=zF0k...

Scam alert
Big fan of this new Kickstarter scam where scammers pretend to me successful kickstarters to try and sell ‘services’ to campaign managers.

Amazingly poor ai writing. ‘It actually dragged on me’ sold it for me 💪💀
