Things we learnt this week: Democrats’ obsession with ‘identity politics’ has lost them the working class vote; being one of the most competent & likeable ministers is no defence against Starmer’s ‘own goal’ mission; rootling Wild Boar can help restore threatened Turtle Doves & butterflies
