I’m familiar with some of the songs and believe the story line is about matching in an older Jewish community and changing times, but that’s all.

I came to most musicals later in life. My parents never mentioned musicals and the recordings were never in the house. I saw Bye Bye Birdie & The Sound of Music & The Wizard of Oz on television, without understanding, “This is a whole genre.” Now, I’m discovering many older ones.

This was my first viewing and I’m always excited to see an oldie and expand catalog. The songs were nice and then I reached that part and was like, OH!😳 Well, I didn’t see that coming. I wiki’d it saw the prior work it had been based on. Definitely has a cheeriness and definitely has a sinister part

Do the songs differ in any way than they appear on the regular album?
