Every year I take a “birth-minute us-ie” with my son and it’s one of my favorite birthday traditions. I have no idea how long he’ll let me do it, but I’m gonna treasure it until he doesn’t. #momlife

It’s astounding the degree to which the doing nothing about the # of extremely aged Dems in the House, Senate, and Supreme Court has bitten us in the rear. This isn’t to say older people can’t govern. It’s to say there’s been no consideration of what happens *after* them. And we’re paying for it.

This guy is working on our neighbors’ new porch. We’d offered the contracting firm our parking pad to use while the project is happening so they didn’t block the alley and make our block’s life more difficult—but had we known they worked with white supremacists, we wouldn’t have.

Halfway through our first day of virtual learning and neither of us hates our life (yet). So I’m going to take that as a win.

There’s this one house in the next neighborhood over that, every Christmas, creates an elaborate scene using pig decorations. This year’s is “(Snowball) War of the Pigs,” and I love it.
