Donald Trump just slapped a major tax on every person and business in America. Families will pay hundreds more at the grocery store and the gas pump. Everything from cars to kitchen appliances will skyrocket in price.

Good, helpful tips. Get on the phones, people.
I ran a US Senator's regional office for a while
What to know about calling your Rep/Senator:

-Be pleasant. They aren't their bosses, they're often interns.
-Be concise. Say why you're calling and what you'd like their boss to do.
-If not getting thru to DC, call the local office on the website.

Flood the zone. Electeds, activists, & leaders, don’t assume people know what’s going on. Tell them everywhere that:

Trump & Republicans stopped Medicaid.

Trump & Republicans stopped housing assistance.

Trump & Republicans stopped schooling for children.

If you’re a federal employee, you should know this is a lie. Congress hasn’t appropriated these monies and so it’s literally not there to be spent. Also, federal agencies are limited by law to a max $25K payout in the case of restructuring.
BREAKING 🚨 🚨 🚨

President Donald Trump's administration is set to offer every single federal worker the chance to take a "deferred resignation" with a severance package of roughly eight months of pay and benefits.

If you need a copy of the 14th Amendment to the US Constitution - unfortunately the White House has removed the Constitution from its site. Be careful about altered documents circulating. Here's the text from the Library of Congress: constitution.congress.gov/constitution...

Nah. All she SHOULD do is relax. If you all wanted her to work, you should have elected her for the job.
Seriously, I would like to hear from VP Harris tomorrow condemn the pardons and the illegal actions such as birthright citizenship. She should seize the stage and defend the rule of law.

Bipartisanship? That was circa 1996.
It is time to look to the future.

The challenges that face America are many and great.

The Senate must respond with resolve, bipartisanship, and fidelity to the working and middle class of this country.

Jan 20, 1961. A blizzard the day before. Temperatures well below freezing. Without a coat or hat, JFK gave a speech we still quote today. Robert Frost, 86, recited a poem. Steinbeck and Hemingway and Rothko were among the VIPs. A million people gathered in the cold to hear it.
This is the precedent.
