Cut up a bunch of raw ginger, throw it into a crock pot, fill with water. Let it steep for hours, preferably overnight. In the morning, fill a mug, add freshly squeezed lemon quarter (or more), and then add honey.

Acupressure (probably originated in India) may be 5,000 years old. Acupuncture (China spreading to Korea and Japan) is almost as old. Reflexology (from the US) is over 100 years old.

That reflects my feelings about Tokyo/Seoul. Tokyo always feels like a Vivaldi concerto. Measured, precise, careful. Seoul always feels like a punk rock show. Loud, in your face, and unpredictable.

In some ways, Japan expertise is victim of its own success. The Japan field always felt more established. Korea has a way of feeling like the wild west.

This made sense to me because interest in a country would coincide with econ. development. Japan was basically the only game in town for several decades. Korea really felt relatively unknown when I moved there in 2002. It has since exploded in terms of interest.

Need to look more closely, but early reports made it seem like need for HEU was explicitly mentioned. Shocking to see it included so matter of factly. Meanwhile, the Mugunghwa Forum is likely elated.
