As I’ve seen this confused a few times, please note that Robin Gibb was a much-beloved member of the Bee Gees, whilst Robbie Gibb is the BBC board member who also, totally coincidentally, was editorial adviser in the set-up of GB News.

I know, Bee Gees, GBeebies, a bit confusing…

The limp 'response' to Trump's BBC attack (a timid surrender by senior BBC execs, and a failure of any robust UK institutional pushback) has opened the door to every right-wing charlatan and his/her dog while pandering to a convicted FELON who now seeks damages. Britain, you have become so pathetic!

Trump threatening to sure BBC? What a c***, can't take any criticism. Perfect fascist. Don't suppose Starmer would intervene, as he's pathetic.

My mum's fess… At a wake after a funeral at a crematorium, everyone was reminiscing with so many favourite, fun and fond tales of the recently deceased. My mum decided to chip in and said, 'Wow, so many stories about him! I bet his ears are burning!'

Something I’ve noticed is there seems to be a sort of pervasive assumption that the status quo has gravity. That there’s a natural, comfortable way things should be and that deviations from the normal state of the world will correct themselves in time.

But as a paleontologist, I know this is false.

Yep. And to think that so many people think this man is some sort of hero is such a sign of our twisted times.

I really would not like to know this person. Equally, I doubt very much he has the talent to match his arrogance. And no, I'm not jealous.
