Everytime I hear about these people I always wonder how many of them have undiagnosed OCD. I'd wager a not insignificant number. These beliefs are so close to my own weird OCD thoughts. Like oh, if I just make myself think this one thing, it will somehow magically affect the whole world.

Maybe no one around here is interested in those genres so they just don't carry them (you can get any Amish romance book you want though!!). I just wish I didn't have to buy every book I want to read though😭

I had a list of 17 books I wanted to read and none of them were available in the whole system, not even on loan from other libraries. Every time I look for a book they don't have it all. I don't think horror and SciFi are that obscure??
