If you are doing this in the new year, I would be interested :) I haven't really had any interest in VR for a long time due to not really having anything to do & haven't touched it in months. I do like world exploration though!

I am definitely always open to talking about this, as i love conventions & I love selling at them. But the scary line between poverty and success is always a constant stress for me (I am about to do 5 major events I've spent all my savings preparing for!) & I think its important for artists to know

Year (say I didn't get into the main event that earns me almost half my yearly earnings.) You are STILL expected to pay that on any sales in a low earning year.
All this to say.... I Conventions are not the quick easy money fix people expect. They are expensive, and very shaky for stable income D:

I Australia if you earn over a certain amount you are also locked into supplying the government a extra 10% on each thing you sell which you are expected to charge. Which is so hard in this climate when people are unable to purchase art at current old costs. & if you miss out on major events one-

I tour conventions alone full time, and have no safety nets nor ability to really save which is acary. The fine line between success and absolute ruin is something I definately feel people dont talk enough about. Because many do have people they can financially fall back on (which is wonderful!)

I wish Australia wasn't so far away. I absolutely love that this event exists, and I want to visit so bad haha :D

What a silly take. Artists don't NEED image gen. Just as they rightfully said (and were proven right) that NFT and blockchain rubbish was stupid in the extreme.

Artists need to be left the hell alone, to do what they do best. Making Art.

Especially shoes haha. I've been buying kids sized shoes for years. Often they are the same quality for a fraction of the price!
