Has this raccoon-faced invertebrate looked at what it costs to buy a house right now? If he's going to lie, at least try ginning up bullshit with a shard of credibility. Will there come a time when some Fox host will say, "Hang on a sec ... "
JD Vance: "A lot of young people are saying housing is way too expensive. Why is that? Because we flooded the country with 30 million illegal immigrants who were taking houses that ought by right go to American citizens."

A Black Hawk helicopter. SWAT teams repelling to the roof. 300 agents. Flash-bang grenades. A TV crew.

“It’s 20,000 of them running through my house like we got Saddam Hussein in the closet."

For all that, fed prosecutors filed no criminal charges against anyone who was arrested.

Stunning report.
“I Lost Everything”: Venezuelans Were Rounded Up in a Dramatic Midnight Raid but Never Charged With a Crime
Authorities said Tren de Aragua “terrorists” had taken over the building. A ProPublica investigation found little evidence to back up the government’s claims. For the first time, the Venezuelans arres...

They always try the "dead people" shtick first seen with Social Security. And even IF there are somehow dead folks still on the rolls, remove them and keep helping people. And I don't do math but even if true, 186k is what percentage of 40 million?
Brooke Rollins: "SNAP is a broken program. SNAP is full of corruption. We found 186,000 dead people."

Just because you did your job well and honestly does not mean other parts of the organization you work for didn’t undercut you though.

That’s the thing about large organizations.
As a former member of NYT’s finance team & the co-author of this story exposing the relationship between Epstein & Bill Gates as well as one on Epstein & JPMorgan, I am really frustrated to see people claiming that NYT sat on publishable info about Trump and Epstein 🧵 www.nytimes.com/2019/10/12/b...

Absolutely this. They were people protecting the idea(l) of the job, the D.C. power structure. Jailing a former president would have broken their brains. They could have properly prosecuted Trump, released the Epstein files, done all kids of stuff. But norms.
i remain steadfast in my belief that the most parsimonious explanation for their decisions is they simply did not want to imprison donald trump. it was something they wanted to avoid more than just about anything else. it scared the shit out of them and led them to delay and ignore him far too long

It is impossible to overstate how wretched and ghoulish this is. She should tell that to the patents, and see how they feel about that "difference."
Megyn Kelly: "I know somebody very close to this case…Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile…He was into the barely legal type, like he liked 15 year old girls…He wasn't into like 8 year olds…There's a difference between a 15 year old and a 5 year old."

This article is utterly damning for the New York Times and also for Vanity Fair and ABC, whose editorial teams were apparently intimidated into silence by a mix of legal and violent threats. Virginia Giuffre did not stand a chance against all this.
This story by @davidfolkenflik.bsky.social about Landon Thomas, former NYT reporter now appearing in the latest email tranche, soliciting a $30k contribution from Jeffrey Epstein?

Yes, you can read it here

Truly. This was the worst part, no different from R.Kelly:

"Some critics of the press's performance say ruefully there may have been a class element at play. As described in court documents, Epstein and his associates recruited young women from working-class backgrounds and disrupted families."
It’s a genuine conspiracy.

The "Access Hollywood" interview, as many have noted, should have ended Trump's political career. It seems so naive now, the days when a consensual affair ended Gary Hart's political run.

Do you know how shitty you have to be to make people nostalgic for Sepp Blatter?
Another price increase for the 2026 World Cup…

Sensing strong demand, FIFA raised the cost of many tickets to record-setting heights — the first large-scale implementation of its “variable pricing” strategy.

My wife notes that likely a reason Boebert didn't cave is that like every woman, she has been put in a vile position by a shitty man. And no matter the wacko MAGA things that someone trumpets, at some point it comes down to this reality.

What the Epstein files show is the *solidarity* of many men-across class, race, religion, profession & party affiliation-in the global political project of keeping the boot on women's necks.

People have no problem understanding class solidarity among the rich. Why can't they see gender solidarity?
Like I dunno, maybe the reason it took a lady to break open the story of all the men protecting the dude trafficking underage girls is because the male journos were all emailing him making jokes about it?

Here’s the underlying Epstein bill. For this to have legal force — as opposed to just messaging value:

1. House must pass it. (Discharge petition can only to force a vote.)

2. Senate must pass it.

3. Either Trump signs it or Congress overrides his veto.

www.congress.gov/bill/119th-c...
Grijalva just signed the Epstein discharge petition.

It now has the 218 signatures necessary to start the clock that will, in a few weeks, trigger floor votes on the underlying bill to require release of the full Epstein files.
