She's fantastic, and the performance was a true show. I generally find venues like TD Garden too big and impersonal but she really shrank the space and made it her own.

I suspect Platner is exactly the kind of candidate (for all sorts of reasons) that would draw this type of person back into voting, and I think there are a lot of people who fit a similar profile. Enough to offset losses from other groups? That's the scary unknown.

I think that is true for a subset of voters, but another subset will SAY they value civility then vote (R) across the board. I am also thinking of a young (well mid-30's) acquaintance, very pro 2nd am, Bernie voter to non-voter, doesn't care for Trump but hates mainstream dems.

It's been a privilege to visit Chicago a few times over the last couple of years; it's vibrant and alive, and I feel as though you could spend years exploring it and still never fully grasp the whole. A great american city.
