Puzzling that the centrist pundits who are arguing for a "big tent" Democratic Party are the same people who spend all their time on social media attacking the left. The Venn diagram of these two groups is practically a circle.
Meanwhile, if you take Dems and subtract the left, you get 2000 and 2024

Just for the record, in 2020:
- Wray was the FBI director Trump handpicked to replace Comey
- Jack Smith was in the Hague prosecuting Kosovo war crimes
- Garland was an appeals court judge
- Monaco was in private practice in LA

There was no Biden administration yet, crooked or otherwise.

He crazy.

White House staff have wanted event space for many, many decades.

The issue is not additional space being built; it’s the concern for architectural and historical integrity, and who is donating to this project and what they are getting in exchange for it.

Remembering when Chris Rufo insisted that Disney was a thoroughly corrupt institution because it had a small number of employees arrested on CSAM and sex trafficking charges and I replied, well, let's use that standard for Republicans, and he blocked me before I could finish the thread.

For 26 but especially 2028 it's time for Democrats to make clear that the current Supreme Court will have to be reformed (expanded in number, reformed in structure) to allow popular govt to continue in the United States. Not so much a litmus test as precondition for any other promise to be credible.

This is the real reason Jimmy Kimmel is being taken off the air.

Brian Stelter: "Nexstar already owns lots of TV stations. It wants to merge with Tegna, which owns lots of other stations. In order to do that, it needs Brandon Carr, the FCC Chair's, permission."

Yeah, if you're in the media and someone insists that "they" were celebrating his murder and therefore "they" have to suffer some sort of retribution, you have an obligation to ask who "they" are and what, specifically, they did to celebrate this.

You can't just let them throw that gas on the fire.
Keep seeing/hearing news reports of MAGA fury at people celebrating Kirk’s killing (just now, NPR cited Stephen Miller’s outrage about this). But I have yet to see/hear a single example reported of such “celebration” —nothing close to Kirk’s own vile celebration of Paul Pelosi’s hammer attacker.
