ChatGPT returns an error when you ask it about “David Mayer”. There’s lots of speculation on who David Mayer is and why OpenAI blocks his name, including some conspiracy theories.
My guess is a David Mayer filed a GDPR data erasure request (right to be forgotten) and OpenAI put in a hard guardrail.
