16 years of seizure freedom and brain surgery anniversary is very bittersweet this year as my biggest supporter in my epilepsy journey is not here. My wife Cindy passed away last month of bile duct cancer. Her wish was for me to celebrate with lunch and cake at our epilepsy foundation family.
