They are outside their lawful duties in most of these cases. If they break the laws-smashing into cars for example, without proper authority tjis should be subject to arrest. Would they get a pass if they were drunk driving?

It occurred to me yesterday that this may be the end of congress. They have abdicated their power repeatedly. The president has canceled spending and taken numerous actions without congressional approval. The separation of powers and “jealously guarded” are not working. I think congress is done.
