I tried to convince y'all that the constant criticism of Democrats was going to put the GOP back in charge, but oh well here we are.
Supporting Democrats is a lot better than living under GOP rule.

The threat to end the filibuster is NOT what caused the end the Republicans' shutdown.
I get that many rich folk like Matty Yglesias could care less about 42 million Americans going hungry because Republicans were using food stamps as a political weapon, but in general Democrats aren't monsters.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but haven't Republicans been in charge of Congress every time there's been a government shutdown making this a very disingenuous attack on Democrats?

I just spit balled this graph together the other day showing how much faster we need to be deploying solar. I might try to graph it using that number of 8.75 GW per day number to give it more value.

I think that many cattle farmers would be glad to deploy enough solar via agrivoltaics to cover their farm's electricity needs with relatively simple systems like these placed in their pastures to produce shade for the cows.

Reminding everyone that the people who are now calling for Schumer and Jeffries to lose their jobs are the same people who helped put Fetterman into office.

Look, I nor a majority of Americans fly very often, but a lot of influential people do. The disruption of air travel in the U.S. is having a major impact on them and they will soon be blaming Democrats for ruining their Thanksgiving if this Republican government shutdown goes on much longer.

I can't say if this is fake or not, but if it is real, Trump's AI on "Truth" Social is going to get reprogrammed I expect.

Seeing how much social media posters have turned on Democrats and are now trying to help ensure they are never able to dislodge Republicans from power compared to how happy they seemed to be after Democrats crushed it at the polls last week reminds of this.

I doubt that I'll read it, but it must be quite a tale they spin by trying to assert that Germany's power system emissions have increased since they invested in decarbonizing via feed-in tariffs.

Republicans and other political parties owned by the fossil fuel industry think that they can force people to remain addicted to their expensive, polluting products.
They're thankfully as wrong on that as they are on everything else.

Elon Musk moving Tesla and SpaceX from California to Texas did NOT massively increase their per capita carbon footprint down in that Confederate state.
California has brought down their carbon footprint by electrifying the grid, industry, buildings, and transportation.

It has not been good for our planet that China emitted over 7,000 more megatonnes of CO2 producing electricity above and beyond what they were emitting when they signed the Paris Accord.
It would have been a lot better if they would have started to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions instead.

It's also not true that solar deployment dropped off a cliff in those countries either although perhaps there has been a slowdown in Spain I see.

You should not trust anyone attacking Democrats who is lying about eight Democratic senators voting to reopen the government. Angus King of Maine is not a Democrat.

In October 2015, Australia emitted 13.8 megatonnes of CO2e producing their electricity. Because of the Paris Accord and a change in government there, last month they only emitted 9.4 MtCO2e to produce even more electricity. #COP30 #EnergySky

If it's harder to get something done in Congress than it is to do nothing then Republicans are working harder this Congress than any previous Congress ever has, just saying.

It's safe to assume that this man has no clue about 99% of the issues he discusses based on this tweet. Also, still tweeting in 2025 for any other reason than to get attention to your work is more evidence supporting that assertion.

We've made steady progress building up the manufacturing capacity to produce PV and getting it deployed, but we're only on the linear leg of the S-curve that we need in order to save ourselves from the fossil fools still investing in and burning fossil fools.
We all need to push harder for solar 🔌💡

Bob Blue, Dominion’s chairman, president and CEO, says Republicans' tariffs increased the cost of Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project.
The 176-turbine wind farm 27 miles off the coast of Virginia Beach will be $11.9 billion, a more than 21% increase from the initial budget.

What do you think about this electrified 1962 Comet?
Converting our fleet of polluting ICEVs into EVs would be a better use of taxpayer money than giving rich people subsidies to buy new electric vehicles at this point in our transition imo.
We should support this industry.

Republicans and other "conservatives" across the globe want to stop people from adopting cleantech in order to protect fossil fuel industry profits, but the technology is too damn good so they'll lose their war against clean energy.
