Reading is cool and all, but have you tried writing?

(he/him)
The main Chamblin is my second favorite bookstore (after Coas in Las Cruces). I'll be in Jax over the holidays. Hope they have some left.

I could go on, but I'll end with this. Any soldier worth his salt should be anti-war, but I'm asking you "what are we fighting for?" The best thing you can do for disabled veterans is tell your reps and the president to stop making so many of us. /end

Then I watched Trump negotiate with extremists to give Afghanistan back to the Taliban. I watched Biden fumble the withdrawal. I watched the Taliban reinstate theo-fascism. I watched our translators get deported to face execution, US amnesty end for almost all but white South Africans. 6/x

I was in Afghanistan in 2014 when Bowe Bergdahl was recovered (once again...Pakistan). I flew 55 combat rescue missions, and learned that body bags leak. 5/x

I was in Iraq when we got Bin Laden, in Pakistan, ten years after 9/11. Mine was the most attacked base in Iraq, and many of the munitions fired at us were Iranian in origin. 4/x www.washingtoninstitute.org/policy-analy...

I retired from the AF reserve on Sept 5th of this year. The same day a draft-dodger and a disgraced National Guard major named it back to the Department of War. I'm glad I got out when I did. 3/x

Harry Truman summed it up what we fight for pretty well in the 1947 National Security Act renaming the War Department the Department of Defense. 2/x

That's good to know. I'd like to look at the timeline for all the deals. I guess they were signed before anything was adapted and by the time the first one came out it was too late to rethink the decision for the stuff that would be adapted later.

Wasn't Vertigo creator owned? Or did DC just stand it up so they could print boobies and swears? I guess that's why he went to Avatar for a lot of his later work.

That's pretty decent of him. Is this one of those Jack Kirby situations?

Oh well that's different then. I really dislike when creators bad mouth their adaptation while profiting off of it, and it seemed like Moore had a history of that. But if he's giving his share to the co-creators then that's actually pretty cool.
