I grabbed a leaf stone I xfered off my Weepingbell to evolve Shifty. When the Shiftry went to evolve the game went black screen, white screen, then turned to jarbled pixels while evolving. After it evolved the game returned to normal so I saved asap to not lose progress. However...

When I opened the pc I found that Nosepass and Arcanine had become bad eggs. All the pokemon between them were deleted. Idk how it happened and I'm upset but not distraught cause I didn't lose anything crazy. However, I'm just wondering what happened cause I don't wanna lose more progress.
