I brought up this old Jerry Buss quote a lot back when Dwight Howard was brought in and was a thoroughly inadequate leader. Amid the complaints about what Luka could’ve done better in Dallas, he is a generous teammate and a relentless competitor. And his love for playing basketball is irresistible.
