maybe I'll make my own sort of Book of the Year awards based on what I've read this year. Gotta think of what categories... genre is a little hard because some of those fields would be real narrow in comparison to others XD

This was a rare instance, especially with Anne’s books, when Del Rey dictated what they wanted on the cover. I didn’t get to read the manuscript. Instead I worked with a brief overview. 1/3

His elbow rests there, propping his head in his cupped hand. His eyes roll as if lost in thought. The lights of equipment behind him give way to stars and the cloudy surface of a blue planet. Another comic from this past year. Sometimes I'm in awe about how incredibly small birds can be.
In a comic strip panel, person in a red shirt walks through a sunlit forest. The text says "Sometimes I go looking for a tiny part of the universe." E33, The Wandering Village, Seance of Blake Manor, Dawntrail, Dispatch. I need to finish Lies of P still but that one too probably.

I did enjoy Pkmn Violet, and replaying Dragon Age Origins and DA2, but the others outscore those three.

Light is lucky. Not necessary, but it's a good luck charm, best saved for the most difficult fish/windows.
