No hate to these creators at all, but I'm getting tired of this trend in FFXIV content creation where you get months of doomerism videos followed by "OMG THE GAME IS GOOD AGAIN" all because one patch comes out where the devs tie story threads together they put in motion *in the base expansion*.

Since the new Zep video is making the rounds I figured I would collect my thoughts here:
-Dawntrail's narrative was flawed and failed to live up to much of its potential. I posit that the extra focus put on cultural representation (NOT a bad thing) took away from necessary editorial time on (1/?)
