Thank you, Jefferson County! Don’t sleep on these folks. Big wins last week in the municipal are bringing huge momentum back to south east Texas. I appreciate this packed room of folks from Orange, Hardin, & Jefferson Counties for spending their Friday night with me in Beaumont!

I voted today in Dallas County and had the best poll workers around! Have you voted yet? Election Day for many city council and school board elections across the state is May 3rd! 🇺🇸

And if you’re wondering, I voted for Paul Ridley in his “hotly contested” re-election campaign 😜

It was a beautiful Saturday in Corpus Christi with a couple hundred of our coastal bend friends! I’m very grateful to the hosts who helped pull together our events and round tables with local dems who are fired up and ready to see Nueces County come back home to the Democrats— 2026 is the year!!

The greedy billionaires that run this country are sacrificing veterans, teachers, and other working people at the alter of their own self-dealing, and we‘ve had enough.

Showed up today at the Dallas VA Hospital w/ a couple hundred friends to make it known that firing 80,000 VA employees & indescriminatly destroying livelihoods of working men and women across this country wont be taken lying down.

Thank y’all. Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, thank you. 💙

Here’s the deal: I as Texas Democratic Party Chairman would be here to work for our party’s grassroots! Last cycle alone I put more than 35,000 miles on my pick-up driving around this state to help folks on the ground.

I try to stay up to date posting about these events, but it doesn’t always work out for me! Haha Had a great time at LBJ Ranch with @progresstexas.bsky.social and @txprogressives.bsky.social

Ahead of our Progressive Caucus forum today, I’m proud to have this first batch of powerhouse progressive leaders, activists, and Texans standing with me ready to build a Texas Democratic Party that can take on the tough fights. We're going to need that strength these next 4 years.

Fired up to have @jimhightower.com in my corner! His decades of real, hands-on experience with real grassroots organizing are exactly what we need to take TX back.

It’s time to refocus, reinvest, & rebuild from the ground up. Why? I think you deserve a Democratic Party that works for ALL Texans.

Cecile Richards was a force of nature. The first time I met her, I was in awe. The last time we talked, at the 2024 convention in Chicago, she reminded me what it means to fight for what’s right. (1/2)

From those early days organizing at the grassroots level to today, that same fire still drives me and won’t be running out soon so let's get to work.

Throwing it back to 2016: the Texas Democratic Convention Youth Caucus and the DNC in Philly.

Man, those were the days. Moments like these are what kept the fire lit in me to fight for this Party, for this state, and for a future where Democrats win big in Texas.

Huge shout out to progressive powerhouse @itsjenramos.bsky.social and team for all of their work organizing the Women’s March today in Austin— we’re not going back!

Texas Democrats need a leader who’s ready to put in the work and fight for every vote, everywhere. I’m ready to step up, and I’m asking for your support to make it happen.

Let’s get to work.
