This is fascinating, and helps explain some of the shock of the election result in a way I haven't seen before: www.theguardian.com/us-news/ng-i...
Democrats’ much-touted ‘ground game’ was a disaster. Here’s how to fix it

On this Trans Day of Remembrance, now more than ever, we need to honour & remember those that came before us who we’ve lost to anti-trans hatred & violence.

On Trans Day of Remembrance, I'm reminded that Jesus (in Matthew 19:12), the apostles (in Acts 8:26-40) and the prophets (in Isaiah 56:3-5) all welcomed "eunuchs," which are the closest biblical parallel to trans people. So why are so many in the church today trying to exclude them?

Failing Jesus’ Temptations — Immanuel Spokane
According to the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke, the first thing Jesus did after his baptism was to go into the wilderness to fast and pray. There he was tempted by the devil, in three ways: to mak...

Can social media be a force for good again, or at least a respite from chaos? I have no idea, but let's give it a try.
