New post is up! AI is throwing global energy markets off balance. Data centers are driving demand that shifts influence toward countries with minerals, storage, and power capacity.

New post on NATO’s agreement to more than double its defense spending pledge. Its a major foreign policy victory for the Trump administration.

🚨New post on immigration and the Mexican-American War🚨

The war created a border cutting across ethnic and cultural lines. Border security is not a bad thing, but it requires understanding this history.

My latest post covers Israel-Iran conflict and what it says about the shifting landscape in the Middle-East. This was written before Trump signaled the US might engage directly (a bad idea, imo).

A week on from the 81st anniversary of D-Day, Eisenhower’s words still echo: “We must find some way to work to peace… to gain an eternal peace for this world.” As war spreads globally, his message is more urgent than ever.

My first thought after the terrorist attack on October 7, 2023 was the two-state solution was dead. Not because that was what I wanted, but because it set in motion a series of actions that would inevitably lead to what is in the photo.

More evidence the world needs to rethink the capabilities of #russia compared to #ukraine. Ukraine used drones to attack five air bases in Russia, including two in the far east: one in Irkutsk, which is roughly 2600 miles from Ukraine, and another in Amur oblast an additional 1,000 miles away.

New post out on Trump’s Middle-East dealmaking. With over $2 trillion in agreements across Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and the UAE, his administration is betting on economic influence to reshape U.S. power in the region.

This is a long-term problem for the U.S. In a multipolar world, maintaining global goodwill will be even more important.

I've been neglecting to share my latest posts, so trying to rectify that. This one touches on the misguided strategy of the Trump administration to cozy up to Russia.

Remind me why so many people are cowering in fear of this administration?

Vance’s entitlement is insane. I’m of Scots-Irish descent too. I have ancestors who literally fought in the Revolution. That does not entitle me to a special place here.

Yes, because if we know anything about Donald Trump, its that he has a completely conventional approach to the separation of powers.

Three options here:
1. He's willing to say anything to stir up his base
2. He's crazy and detached from reality
3. All of the above.
