Sharknado was a hit!

@legendarypinkdots.bsky.social played a stellar show at Beat Kitchen in Chicago, supporting their latest album "So Lonely in Heaven." (My favorite track is Blood Money.) Met @qaspel.bsky.social after the show, and he was a sweetheart.

Spotted in Puerto Rico. Hell yeah.

Last year, I broke my leg in 3 places. 8 weeks ago, I started a run training program for the first time. Today, I ran my first ever 5K!

Gang of Four was SO GOOD. Energy was 10000%. My legs still hurt four days later from all the jumping and dancing. Ted Leo and Gail Greenwood had big shoes to fill, and they were marvelous. I felt they honored Andy and Dave, and complemented Jon and Hugo well. Bucket list show for me.

Farewell, Mike Peters. I so deeply enjoyed the Alarm show at Turner Hall in 2019. He fought one hell of a battle.

I got to see the iconic Kylie Minogue! Finally, after 26 years of waiting! My favorite part was when she departed from the set list and took audience requests. There was even a lovely acapella version of Where the Wild Roses Grow. (Also, note to self: find a sparkly red jumpsuit.)

Iggy Pop at the Salt Shed in Chicago last night. Rocked out next to a man who could have been my grandpa, and I definitely want to be him when I grow up.
