Now I'm back at my desk, reordering books before Fables and Flames (I nearly ran out of books at TeslaCon!), and tearing through my to-do list while listening to Nat King Cole. I'll have to pause at some point for an appointment, but I'm glad to be feeling better than I have in months. 💖

Absolutely no Frankenstein spoilers from me, but I may have to add writing monster romance to the list of things I write. (Not the first time I've thought this and anyone who really knows me wouldn't be surprised at all if I did. It wouldn't be that big of a stretch from my existing genres...)

After the convention, I got to see both the new Frankenstein and Predator movies. Loved them both for different reasons! I've since watched Frankenstein for the 2nd time at home. I have lots of Thoughts™️about the film and will be rewatching it many times.

I'm so grateful that I was able to make it! Just about EVERYTHING that could go wrong before TeslaCon did. There were several times I thought was going to have to cancel, but *finally* things came together. Getting to spend time with some of my favorite people was good for my weary soul.
