Rescued this baby last week, stuck in the bottom of our cement basement stairwell. Could not successfully reunite with mom so off to the rescue she went. It took every ounce of my willpower not to snuggle her all night.

I feel so stuck. My dog’s diagnosis has thrown me for a loop. Tried ten times to check his blood sugar unsuccessfully before I was finally able to stick him in his ear. He’s been such a trooper but this has definitely made me depressed. I love him so much.

at a time and finally his fasting blood glucose is in the 400s. This was down from the 600s! We still have a bit to go but I’m being more aggressive because I’m hoping to maintain his vision. He’s been a trooper with all the poking and prodding.

Last night we tried to go to the beautiful Longwood Gardens to see their holiday lights. It poured like a summer storm and dropped hail on us. We tried to hang but it was impossible not to get saturated, even with umbrellas. Oh well, we’ll definitely never forget it! Happy New Year, friends!
