When the Clinton ROTC story broke in 1991 an older friend BC’s age - a Republican- said it didn’t bother him because by the time his # came up anyone with a way to avoid Vietnam did. But BC didn’t treat the military like shit, disparage their service or warmonger. That’s the difference with Trump

Good vote to remember when people suggest Murkowski should switch parties. She may not be MAGA, but she's certainly a Republican.

SF politics are tough too. There's an old line about it being a "knife fight in a phone booth".

Without even looking it up I'd bet my car that a minority of Democrats never crossed over to pass a Republican bill that Leader Pelosi publicly opposed.

And who thought appearing at a game in DC - a city he’s currently occupying with the military and where likely thousands of families have been impacted by federal job cuts and furloughs - would be a good idea?

I don’t think the politics really matter for most of them. We’re dealing with stone cold sociopaths now. It’s an administration of Stephen Millers top to bottom

Trump’s been in the public eye for 45 years. I’ve never seen a photo of him in nature, at a museum, on a real vacation, with a domestic animal…..really even any family photos that weren’t highly staged. His life has been a black hole of attention and money grubbing

I cancelled my subscription in September but the comments moderation - which I assume is also AI driven now - had become quite restrictive in what you could say about members of the administration. I’m not talking about abusive language or slang either.
