I have been working to modify our stations that students use after checkout this year. This week one of our stations students built a squirrel hideout to hide their acorns! So much creativity!!

After reading Goldilocks, preschool wanted to fix a problem for Baby Bear by finding a new chair. They decided what Baby Bear would want, analyzed 60 different pictures of chairs, labeled his new chair, tested it out, drew a picture, and built one with Legos.

Junior Kindergarten has been learning about the difference between fiction and nonfiction. After reading about elephants on PebbleGo they listened to the book Strictly No Elephants. Then they used felt shapes to make their own pet to join the Pet Club. We even used puppets as our models. #dcdsreads
