Gah. Made this mess trying to find the inside thread of the ball. How could I go so far off track? I pulled the innards out of the ball and spent so long unraveling the massive knot. There are still entrails spilling out of the ball. Need a machine to spool yarn onto bobbins.

A mess. Just a sad yarn mess. A pair of socks are waiting to be worked on a pair of circular needles. A grey 8 ply yarn is strewn across the ottoman, partly unraveled but still with an ugly knot coming from inside the ball.

My first pottery project since making an ashtray in grade five. I'm really happy with how it turned out. It's very hand-made, and I love the docent degrees of transparency in the white and blue glazes. Did this at 4Cats Inglewood Art Studio on their Hygge night.

A pair of socks lying flat. The colour pattern repeats with dark speckled grey and shades of green. The socks are stocking stitch, except for the cuff which is 2x2 rib. German short row heal, gusset, toe up. Two socks on two feet, one left and one right. Patterned green and grey, mid calf, ribbed cuff, not yet blocked. The colour pattern is reversed from one stock to the next. Two incomplete green and grey patterned socks are cast onto two 100cm circular needles. Two at a time were knit from both ends of the ball of yarn in the photo. A plastic spool is used as a jig to keep the inside and outside yarn from tangling around the ball or twisting. A ball of Lang Yarns' Super SOXX Color 6 Ply. The sock pattern is called Train Soxx, in the Inca Rail colour scheme. The colours include bright lime green changing shade to grey green, and sections of black, grey, and white dashes.

These half finger gloves were a COVID project. Each finger was knitted on dpns. I wasn't paying attention when I bought the yarn. I just liked the colours. One long colour gradient, oops.
They've lasted well, and cleaned up nicely with some woolwash.

Second Sock Syndrome is real. I'm knitting these toe-up, two at a time on two 100cm circular needles. I use both ends of the skein, resulting in the pattern of one being the reverse of the other, which I quite like.

Two partially knit socks are sitting beside the skein they are both being knit from. Both socks are being knit side-by-side sharing two long circular needles. The toes and heals are complete, with about 3 cm of ankle rows also complete. The yarn is 6 ply with a sock colour pattern containing various shades of green, grey, and black. Also on the brown tabletop is an empty 3D printer filament spool, with one end of the yarn wrapped around it like a pulley. One of the socks is right side out to show the plain stocking stitch pattern. The yarn label says: LANG YARNS TrainSoxx SUPER SOXX COLOR 6 PLY SUPERWASH. The colour pattern name is IncaRail. There is an image of an example sock that demonstrates the colour pattern.

Went to a finger knitting craft night at a pub. I finger knitted some rows. First time knitting without sticks.
I frogged it and reknit the thing, and did that all over again and gave it away.
Then I bought this yarn and knit it into a blanket a few times. Happy with the third try!

These are made by Really Useful Boxes Inc in the UK. Shelf has the 4 litre and 2.5 litre sizes. The smaller size has a partitioned tray you can pull out. I found them at Staples.

I like this kind of case because I can take all the bits to the bench and then put them on a shelf after. The bins don't spill, which is a problem I had with the vertical chests with sliding drawers. I had a couple of incidents while moving drawers to a new house or room that resulted in a mess.

Thank you! I can't believe I've never tried Valentina in a Caesar. Tabasco just got so entrenched. I estimate %40 of Canadian homes have a bottle of Tabasco for only this purpose, and that they've had the same bottle since Obama was in office.
