It's more than that. ill advised as the actions proposed and conclusions in that paper are, it's actually worse bc he wants our economic and influential destruction to enable the destruction of our democracy and way of life. Increasing his power and wealth in the process.

All that, AND it further weakens America's global influence and our ability to get other nations to enact sanctions against our enemies. Look to Russian and Chinese market performance in the face of these tariffs. They know.

His network has used brainwashing techniques (repetition/emotional manipulation) to cement lies as truth & make the rejection of proveable facts seem reasonable. He (through his on-air personalities) told them "we're fair and balanced, we're the only news you can trust" and his audience believes it.

The demand is certainly there (people like brain crack) but Rupert has and has always had an agenda to "persuade" people to vote against their own interests and for his interests.
