I used to see them regularly when hacking the horse on the little bridleway by the stables if I went out at the right time of day.

Come visit and we'll hang out and go hiking up by the stableyard. Hang around at dusk and you can hear them bark. Freaky sounding little vampire deer too!
Our new flat is actually hiking distance to the stables along a wooded trail to the nature preserve where the local muntjac population lives

On that last, nobody said it had to be in their original habitat. North London's greenbelt has a healthy population of muntjac. They make a loud strange barking sound in the evenings!

I just have a collection, mostly in shades of green, of various sizes. Some of them have the name of a dearly departed horse neatly written on them in indelible marker ♥️.

Or rather tub trugs if I'm talking about the branded ones that are mostly made of sturdy food safe plastic that's therefore suitable for feeding and watering horses and other animals.

Trug tubs are the best thing for so many uses around a stableyard too. I love them.

I don't know, other than I just used Bill the Van Man on recommendation for a recent move that required having him back on different days and it was always the same guy. Seemed like a solo operation. I'd never used him before though, so can't attest to the ur-entity vs Dread Pirate Roberts aspect.

not to beat this dead horse but doing what you love often takes a lot of upfront capital investment and a safety net to insulate you from risk

so yeah it's great advice if you've already lucked out, but it also frames any job frustrations as a skill issue, so forgive me this one caremad post
