Steve Jobs used to say that the designer’s task is to listen to what people say they want and then figure out what they actually need (or words to that effect). #Microsoft seems adept at understanding its users’ needs and giving them what they don’t want. 🤷‍♂️

It’s certainly worth fighting for, but the political classes don’t seem to be up to it, and more and more people are voting for the populists. I’m in Ireland, which has its own problems, but is economically thriving within the EU.

I’m glad you ask, Beverly. 😊 It’s mainly the political situation, constant drip-drip of right-wing talking points in the media, the rise in xenophobia, intolerance, and damage to economy done by Brexit. I sense the UK is heading towards a precipice, into which the US has already fallen. Grim.
