I think we’re still paying the price for the Levy era and the incredibly poor transfer activities in the previous windows. How did they not realise the need for a top quality striker and a premiership quality, creative midfielder during the summer? Too much buying for the future not the present

Exactly- it feels like we’re sleepwalking towards a similar situation to Trump. The left seems unwilling to take on the right’s lies - seemingly trying to be evenhanded. The right have no such concerns or qualms and will do or say whatever’s necessary to stoke hatred

We watched a game in San Francisco last year and all the crowd around us seemed to do was keep getting up during the action to collect another helping of fast food and snacks. No one seemed that invested in the game
