Did I share the Olso waterfront at night? It's nice.

I don't have a pet pic, but I do have this cutie from puppy yoga.

A bakery has been found. Their bread is huge!

Almost go time. Next stop Manchester.

And just like that we're back.

This place absolutely clears out at half time.

Not a bad seat for the ballet. Hope it's good. I put on pants (and paid a fortune) for this.

Somehow a tea and pastry yesterday cost me £8, but a tea, pastry, and a sandwich today cost me £19. I think someone took advantage of the foreigner.
November 6, 2025 at 5:21 PM
Today has been a bit much so I'm giving up. No more sightseeing for me. I'm in a cafe then I'm going back to the flat until the ballet later. I'm done in.

Then as mentioned, finished the day with tea and reading, before wandering home to wonder what I'll be doing tomorrow.

See you then for more of the same, only much wetter. Apparently it's gonna rain... a lot.

After the museum I spent a good twenty minutes just sitting by the fjord, enjoying the silence. It can get a bit much being touristy all the time. Sometimes you have to just be. The lapping of the waves, the blowing of the wind, the caw of the odd moody seagull. Perfection.

And I was good in the gift shop even though my steampunk ass was very tempted. Just a zeppelin fridge magnet for me.
November 5, 2025 at 6:39 PM
and next door was another ship but also ZEPPELINS! Did you know the Norwegians flew a Zeppelin to the pole? Because I didn't. They really are the coolest things. Shame all their journeys seem to end in a bit of a crash.

Okay, a few more photos from today. The Fram Museum was excellent. You could go aboard AND INSIDE the ship...
November 5, 2025 at 6:26 PM
Like this one from the BBC. They didn't need the second part. That was a choice.

Also, "remarkable"? He ran a positive campaign offering people a future they wanted, what's remarkable about that?
November 5, 2025 at 5:29 PM
And this picture of sunset at the harbour.
November 5, 2025 at 3:24 PM
It's been quite a long day, so I've found somewhere nice to sit and read for a bit. I'll post more photos later once I've charged my phone, but for now enjoy this cinnamon roll.
November 5, 2025 at 3:21 PM
Had lunch in the Fram Museum, next to a window showing the northern lights... which was nice.
November 5, 2025 at 12:51 PM
Hello Norway. Looking very Norwegian I see.
November 5, 2025 at 10:34 AM
I'm not on this boat either. Cruise ships are massive!

I also just got offered a blanket my the most Lou Diamond Phillips guy I have ever seen (LDP not withstanding).
November 5, 2025 at 10:09 AM
I'm on a boat!

None of the ones pictured, obviously, but see how rainy it is. And this is supposed to be the good day.
