Have never been convinced about claims of systemic bias on any issues. I just think that there are too many people in current affairs management who are simply bad at their jobs & have been for some time. Not including yourself, or Katie Razzle, having listened to the Media Show on this last week.

No. It shows a small but steady increase for everyone from 2008 to 2016, not far off static I agree, but the same for all. Then the big divergence begins a year or to two after 2016 when the changed economic circumstances for the UK began to kick in.

Possibly, and the post above the one you are replying to sets out GDP per capita in comparison to other nations. I've no idea about Q1 2025, but one Q does not counter-balance all the other Q's that have gone before.

Then post-election "how can we have grown-up conversations about tax and public spending?". Cycle and repeat.

What About Bob, allegedly a comedy, being watched in near silence in Scotland many years ago when a voice rumbled "this is pish" to murmers of general agreement. Vaguely remember it picked up a bit as it went on.

Given that Jenrick (and others) is still in post despite everything, I can't see this happening. That would involved self-awareness and making a decision.

Most recently M R Carey's Pandemonium duology, one of the best parallel/alt universe novels I've read for a long time. Multiple earths, multiple POVs, inventive, well-formed backdrops on an epic scale.
