Teaching anthropology in San Diego. Also proud of my VR projects e.g., www.anvropomotron.com and www.paleoca.com.
What a wonderful discussion about the science of who we are! Thank you so much for this opportunity to talk with so many thinkers.
We love when our discussions spark questions that lead to even more questions and, ultimately, to deeper understanding. Keith taught us so much about ourselves and who we are as a species. We're all connected to each other.
Thank you @keithcchan.bsky.social

Disney ban, meet Target ban. It’s too bad I won’t be enjoying the Fantastic Four home release, but I want to live in a functional society instead of just seeing one on screen.

We recently paid people to unfollow the most divisive accounts on X. After a month, they felt 23% less animosity towards other political groups

Their experience was so positive that half declined to refollow those hostile accounts after the study and they felt less animosity 11 months later.

Losing the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS) would be an act of monumental neglect.

I made a video about what’s at risk, and how orgs like @amlibraryassoc.bsky.social and the American Alliance of Museums need us to help advocate for these critical places.

I went to Target for the first time in months. Don't worry: I didn't buy anything. I just flipped off the things I used to buy.

How come the Doomsday Clock is always minutes from midnight? What does 12:15 look like and how is it different from 12:05? Heck the fact that there is a midnight implies there’s a 4pm. What’s that like?
