The main dealerships have locked them down pretty tight: my independent mechanic can change the bulbs and wipers but everything else forces a visit to main dealer.
Feels anti competitive.

Yea, I get one frequently... Something along the lines of: "drivetrain error, do not switch off engine, drive straight to Main Dealership..."
So I pull in, reboot everything and it's grand for a day or week...
Was quoted nearly 3k to fix it, not going to happen on a 10 year old car.

“access to justice” is a core right of citizens in a democracy, & a core principle of the Aarhus Convention
Why aren’t Irish media interrogating proposals to restrict the democratic rights of Irish citizens.. the very questionable evidence put forward .. & the motives of those pushing for this?

Extraordinary legal turnaround proposed to have the winner of a case faced with the costs... can't see how it's consistent with natural justice.
Fairly dangerous wider legal precedent too, hope the adults in the room can put a stop to this dangerous nonesense.

This is nothing but shaping the battlefield ahead of a formal landing of troops.
Of course we assume there are already special forces operating in country, along with intelligence assets and proxies.
