We (San Francisco Bay Area) are in Costa Rica (near the equator). They don’t have sun rise here. It’s dark, and then boom, it’s bright. It’s as sudden as turning on the overhead light in your room. It is so sudden it wakes us up.

AP reports: GOP sending election monitors to CA. As long as they aren’t armed, and aren’t displaying election paraphernalia, all good. Election monitors are standard voting center visitors.
Hope they watch the vote by mail ballot processing at country offices. That’s pretty cool and very secure.

I need to give kudos to the #kpop choreographers who create the dance videos. These performances are so very much better than the ballet performances I watched in college. The movements are crisp and accentuate every syllable in the songs.
