Took hourly photos of a dung pad this morning, starting with fresh droppings at 8.15. Onthophagus taurus (black beetles) and Euoniticellus fulvus (golden) had demolished it by 12.15pm.
One of many benefits of these little fellows is destroying bush and stable fly breeding habitat.
