Canada's first (and only) official F5 struck the town of Elie, Manitoba. The twister's path was erratic and contained several loops. Several homes were destroyed, including one that was completely swept away. Amazingly, no one was injured or killed.

Spotted the tornado east of Regina, SK today! We missed the southern ones near the US border early on, but still glad we caught at least one. Unfortunately, the earlier left split really messed up the environment, but that’s how it goes. #SKStorm

4/2/25: A Tornado Outbreak is expected across parts of the Mid MS and Lower OH Valleys into the eastern Ozarks today. Numerous tornadoes, including multiple long-track EF3+ are likely. Severe storms are also possible from north TX to the Great Lakes. www.spc.noaa.gov
